This privacy policy applies to the Chops application (listed on the App Store as ‘Chops: Drum Rudiments’), created by Digital Staves Ltd.
Chops stores information such as app settings and your current progression through courses locally. Chops has no online component, therefore this information never leaves your device.
If you sign up for a Chops subscription, some non-personally identifiable data will be collected. Information about whether or not you have purchased a subscription, the term you signed up for and when it is due to expire will be collected in an anonymous fashion. This anonymous data is also shared with our purchase provider (RevenueCat).
Chops uses Google Analytics and Crashlytics services provided by Google Firebase. Google Analytics for Firebase is an app measurement solution that provides insights into app on and user engagement. Crashlytics is a crash reporting tool that provides crash reports to assist us in debugging crashes. In order to activate these services, we embed a third-party software development kit (SDK) that is provided by Google. The Firebase SDK collects information from your device in order to help us make informed decisions regarding app marketing and performance optimisation, as well as to resolve crashes. This information may include your IP address, how often an app is opened, your device’s operating system details, and other technical and statistical information. Google Firebase does not collect any personally identifiable information. Nor do we combine the information collected through Google Firebase with any personally identifiable information. We use the information we get from Google Firebase only to improve Chops.
